I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, later raising my five children overseas in London and Tokyo. For more than twenty years now, I have called Nantucket home a place that continues to captivate me with its natural beauty, ocean energy, and rich maritime history.

I have been an artist my entire life. Today, my work focuses on the abstract always experimenting, always refining, always searching for the balance between movement, color, and emotion. Nantucket offers me endless subject matter: the shifting light on the water, the rhythm of the tides, the moods of the ocean, the textures of the island. Music and the sea keep me centered, and both influence the way I approach each piece.

When I paint, I hope to capture not just an image, but a feeling.

My greatest joy is when someone connects with one of my paintings in a personal way. I hope that the people who live with my work feel the same peace, tranquility, and sense of place that I feel while creating it. Nantucket is more than where I live it is my muse and I hope that each piece I create brings a little bit of the island’s beauty, history, and spirit into your home.
